    Hi and welcome.

As the thread implies, FREE guitar plans n stuff.

I don't even know what a weissonborn looks like but if you post a picture of what you want I may be able to track a plan down OR maybe draw one up.

    regards to all

    Default Teardrop style Weissenborn plans

Hi there and thanks Walcen for your reply and kind offer, i checked out ozziebluesman's posts of his Standard style Weissenborn and was very impressed with his jig layout as well as his obviouse talent and skills as a luthier.
I have tried to upload a picture of the type used by Ben Harper but was not sure how to do it correctly so not sure what happened to it. I will watch this space. Thanks again for the help.......Woodyturner56

Ok, so the short answer is that I can't find enough data to draw plans up for you but there are quite a few instruments on e-bay.com where you may be able to get some ideas from, or you may need to bite the bullet and purchase some plans.

    regards

    Default Les Paul Plans

Here's One for the Les Paul Builders, and before anyone starts jumping up and down, I actually drew these up from scratch.

They are at full scale and should print up at full size if you can find a print shop with really really big paper.

If anybody would Like the original .Svg Inkscape CAD file to do your own adjustments or corrections, just PM me your E_Mail.

    regards

Hey hey Dave How go's it buddy? I have a serious confession mate, I was over your way on Aus day week end and even called in to fairy meadows for groceries but unfortunately my cuz has been ill and I wanted to spend as much time as I could with him. But next time for sure. I'm just getting ready for another build, another Les Paul but this time with proper wood LOL. regards Wal

I'll second that Dave. Ur extremely generous with ur time Wal. Can't wait to see ur next build. There's been a real lack of electric builds here

Thanks floody but I think many potential builders shy away due to the cost factor, lack of information and support. My first build would've been fire wood if not for the help of forum members and Giving stuff away is what this forum,s about, anything to encourage fresh builders is good. Plans shoved in a drawer are no good to anyone.

Not so much generosity, more so common sense.
