    When deciding on what glue to use on the various parts of a guitar I consider all the factors. In the case of the fretboard/neck join here you have a low chance of needing to reverse the joint and to reduce risk of back-bow you want to be using a non water-based glue. It's for these two reasons I use epoxy resin for the fretboard/neck join on my acoustics.
