    Default Jazz Box

I'm lusting after a Jazz Box.

I've been looking around & even found a damned good one at about 3/4 price but the bloke who owns it can't convince his local post office to send it to me.

I can get the same thing new posted from a guitar shop in Toowoomba for $19.80 or Melbourne for $25.... Bloody APO.

Anyway, back to the chase, I found a kit set on eBay for $269 delivered so I reckon, what the hell.

It is a rough copy of a Gibson ES175.

It arrived today, not bad, going to need a fair bit of sanding but not too bad.

Hardware is mostly Chinese junk but I can upgrade that as I go, I've already got a good set of pickups on order.

The parcel arrived today, here is what is in it.

More photos here if you are interested.

Work hasn't started yet, I've added some closeups so you can see the quality of the body in the kit.

I,ll watch this one to see how it goes. Have been thinking about a guitar kit for a while so this could make up my mind.

You've been turning out CBGs for a while now, I reckon you could manage a kit no problems.
