Sounds good, just do some testing on pieces of scrap first before you swirl a body, first three test runs I had were aweful. Whats worked best so far is, water temp between 20 and 25 degrees, amount of each color paint, about half a tea spoon....a little goes a long long way.

To do this body I used a 55 litre plastic bin, which in actual fact held 70 litres, filled about 10cm from the top. I added to that 16 table spoons of Borax....mixed it really well for about 2 minutes, left it sitting for just 5 minutes then added my paints and dipped the body.

Thats a change from letting it sit for half an hour before dipping and also the Borax amount was less this time and the result was better. That size bin was only just wide enough and tall enough, go bigger if you can.

Hope that helps you if you decide to give it a swirl...!!!!

Very nice mate looks like it will be a good match for the headstock.

Are you going to spray some clear over the top ?

    Cheers

    Dave
