Thanks Ralph , The p/u's sound amazing ,I was really impressed, with the switching the variation in tone is quite surprising . I think it's one of these things you have to hear your self . The amp is a Univalve and matches well, set to slight break up and use a treble booster as BM did, truly lovely
and thanks Andrew still finishing that other one

Nice work mate. Good lines and quality looking finish. Locking tuners too-nice!

That's a crackin' build, Mark.
Chrome hardware including on the pups really sets this one off.
how are you finding the schallers? Not too heavy on this one ?

Mark.
You have done a wonderful job.
I am in the toy section
I am sure alot of us would love to know how you do such a good job with the router.
And also your finish.
Any chance of letting us know?Back To Car Building & All The Sawdust.

Thanks for the comments all.
Stu these are the only bridge that I've used and I like what the do ,there easy to set up and sound good .I also like to keep the strings close to the body , I think they're one of the lowest bridges around .
Yep they're heavy and take alot of eye space but I can live with that.
Stu if you're refering to the locking tuners yep the schallers are heavy .
Aussie I use a makita router, the big one , and make templates for every thing .Sharp bits and many small passes.
I also have a small home made table that fits in my vise
Finish wise these are sprayed with nitro ,many coats built up over several weeks.
The gun I use for small work is the Iwata LPH80

lovely craftsmanship Mark!
...I am looking hard but i can't see any flaws!
...most meticulous piece of work imo
...and the ole Makita router sure gets around...i think i have the little brother of yours ...well over a decade and still producing sawdust like no tomorrow!

Thanks for showing the router table and the info on how you use it.
My next car will look better because of it I am sure.
