Mr k's 2nd guit
Well this is my next build , Qld maple top with a light piece of Qld maple on the back. The body is hollow and originaly ment for two standard humbuckers , but as often happens I changed my mind on pick ups and have gone for some classic british pick ups from http://www.adeson.co.uk/
These are a shallow route so I won't have a problem with the internal cavity .
I'll hopefully get a bit more progress over the christmas break .
Here's some shots so far .
And here's a pic to show the p/ups
Cheers Mark

looks cool man
looks like a real skinny symetrical version of brian may's guitar
good job of routing out those pickup cavities
is the neck bought or made by yourself?

Very nicely done so far, Mark.
Your work is always exemplary.
I see two gats in the pic, are they both getting the same pup specs? or am I spoiling
the flow of surprises?
Headstock setup also has my interest piqued.
cheers, Stu

Hi Andrew and Stu at this stage the head stock shape will be the same as my last guit with 6 inline tuners.
As for that other one Stu it's on hold till I decide what p/ups are going in there , I'm tossing up between hot P90's or hot H/B's .
The first one I built now has Brierley's in it and love the sound ,but as these two builds coming up are for my daughters use I want to spread the options a bit .
Cheers Mark
