Moon and stars dulcimer.
Just finished this one. The client wanted moon and stars soundholes.
Tassie oak back and sides, fine grained Western Red Cedar soundboard, carved Jarrah head.
The fingerboard is Queen Ebony with pearl inlay depicting the phases of the moon.
Queen ebony tailpiece. Bone nut and bridge.
The bone I took off the dog, left it on an anthill for a couple of days till it was picked clean, then chucked it on the workshop roof all summer till it was dry. I had to make two nuts because my Shepherd Ragnar sniffed out the first one and stole it back!

Nice work there.
I buy bone nuts for about $3 each so the dog still likes me. Impressed that you go to all that work however.
Regards
John
