Simple speed winder for power drill.
A small off cut, a worn screwdriver bit.
Three 8mm holes in a row - the middle one all the way through the outside ones 10mm deep, a bit of chiselling and whittling a bit of superglue and bicarb to fix the bit in place, sand it down and some shellac to make it shine. Plug in to power drill or screwdriver and it works like a charm.

Bicarb converts superglue from a Non-gapfilling glue to a gap filling glue. Sprinkle enough bicarb into gap between wood and hex bit to fill hole (used masking tape to keep from leaking out). Saturate with superglue wait a minute - job done. Other glues might have been as good- just not as quick.
To use stick on end of winding end of tuning peg and wind away. - very useful when putting strings on or off.
