Wot he said. I will add that the Japanese saws are sharp...., really sharp. Wot I also like is the one I bought has a replaceable blade, so you only are up for $20 odd when and if. If you dont want to cough for one of those I have successfully used a coping saw with a 42 tpi blade. But as I said I tend to use the thinner fret wires. May not work for bass guitar fret wire....., or it may.
Hmmm guess Id better build a bass to find out....... this is called obsession......"We must never become callous. When we experience the conflicts ever more deeply we are living in truth. The quiet conscience is an invention of the devil." - Albert Schweizer

I have been looking at the fret saw and mitre box and noticed with the stew-mac one the template is not included...
Looking at the LMII site it looks like they have a new model...The old one was over $300us...but the new one is around $175 including the template..??
Anyone had any experience with this setup? looks very nice
