    Daryl,
    Seriously nice looking ukes.
Any chance of buildalong pics. Reason I ask is I would one day like to step up from the cigar box ukes and guitars I make to some real instruments.
    Regards
    John

    Hi John,

Yep got plenty of pics and happy to help out. There is a very good step by step build manual available from Hana Lima. http://hanalimastore.com/search?q=manual
I use the book as my reference manual.

They also supply very good quality uke kits that have all required materials except tuners.

Feel free to email me at [email protected] for assistance.

Oh...I also built a couple of cigar box ukes & guitars.

    Cheers

    Daryl

    Daryl,
Thanks for the info. The youtube clip is very helpful. I guess I need to get stuck in and make some jigs and stuff. Lots more clamps too.
    Regards

Beautiful ukes. Nice to see some Aussie builders on the forum. Is it me or does the one with the flame front have its bridge on upside down?

Are you sure this bridge isn't on upside down?

Ha ha.......YES it is on upside down. It was stuck on with double sided tape for the photo and I inadvertently rotated it. Rest assured the finished product had the bridge orientation correct! Nice pick up.

A lot of ukes that I see in music shops look like cheap toys for children yours look like you shrunk full sized guitars beautifully crafted lovely work you have a big future in stringed instruments as a matter of fact with this level of workmanship in any type of instrument you put your mind to build cheers and all the best George (opps didn't see that boy you must have great eyes )

Great video Daryl. The bending template appears to have CNC writing on it. Did you buy this in or make it?
