kiwigeo that is exacly what I'm here for & have found it very helpful. I think i just remember a time when I would buy plans for model airplanes (i was in my early early teens) the plans would come with all the different glues, brand names & alternate brandnames, & if the items were'nt available where you lived the local distributor of the plans etc would supply local alternates as a matter of fact. most of the time in a conversion flyer one example comes to mind HobbyCo dont know if they still are around

Thanks Dix and Kiwi. This forum has been outstanding as a source of advice, inspiration and support. Thanks to everyone for their input!

Dix, I lived in Glenbrook for a long time, still have a house there in fact, so we could almost have been neighbours at one stage. Let us know how that spray estapol works out for you (once you get the procrastination monkey off your back ).

    Cheers,
    Yoz

Yoz I have been sitting at my computer since 6.30am (which is also where I do my guitar playing & building), Trying to get it together to stick the bridge on my build, seriously how slack. Put the bridge on & i can string the bloody thing up & play it. I figure to get it totally set up then spray. Told you I was procrastinating with the paint. I originally intended to spray it in 2 pieces but have fitted the , well everything except the bridge. So now i intend to mask & spray the set up guitar minus all the removable stock LOL

That's a great little work zone, everything you need within reach! And a nice little guitar collection forming in the rafters too.

Being based in Christchurch (2 hours ahead of east-coast Oz) I'm always surprised by the number of people on the forum first thing in the morning. You're certainly not the only one sitting at their computer at 6.30am!

    Cheers,
    Yoz

Yoz it is my logic to have everything within arms reach or I wont pick it up. I also believe in NEVER putting a guitar down. If you put them down they get knocked over & damaged so I allways put them up, as it is within arms reach & havent had any nasty mishaps YET!!
