Conkerberry
My liking for this shrub tree that grows about ten feet tall over a long period of years continues. The tree produces a fruit that is highly edible and the wood proves irressistable to termites that hollow out the centre making it hard to cut blanks from it.
Worth the effort.

I like to color a lot...does it turn that way or do you have to wait a day or two for the deep color to show up, like with purpleheart?
Wonder if conkberry grows here in the states?

Another fine example of your workmanship Peter!!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

Peter a well crafted pen. The streamlines do allow you to show the timber off in it's beauty, doesn't it. Have a small log of it at the moment and am seeing what usable blanks that will be able to be cut. Good to see your craftsmanship my friend.
cheers
