Mal has just come back with fresh stock, some for the annual timber auction on 23rd September.
Big burls, redgum and coolibah, ready to slice in a few years, smaller ones for bowls and some cyprus pine slabs and gidgee and buloak logs.

23rd September?
Oh no, Iv'e taken the wrong weekend off.:ohcrap:
Hey Greg. I was just wondering how the auction works? Is it literally a small auction for individual lots that we bid on?
And is there are a pricing list or guide to accompany the auction for us newbies. I haven’t got too much experience in buying timber like this so I’m a little worried I’ll either overbid for what it’s worth or come home empty handed. Thanks
