I found the nice planes now, 3-4 times the price...
I found the nice planes now, 3-4 times the price of the cheaper ones, but quality was much much better. I got one really tiny one, one smaller (like Stanley 9 1/2) and one number 4 size.

For the blades - yes, the stuff is quite commonplace and you can actually it in one meter length and cut it to match your planer. You can get HSS 18%, ST-1 and even HM - cost goes respectively up....

Interestingly enough the global economics have already pushed into the state, where we have the same equipment everywhere. The same ML932 is sold under the brand "IKH" here in Finland, too.
