Thanks Andy, panels will be oiled/coated in something like osmo UV protection oil.
I was toying with the idea of angling them but for this application I'll just have the blades at 90deg I think. -

Any tips on how to best drill the hole up the middle of the dowel lengths? Stack them in a jig... -
