It's wood with Blue decal, so I guess it's about 50's. I guessed it was newer than that, mainly because of its condition..

I would have thought blackwood, BUT it looks a little like a rosewood of some sort to me, I have brazillian rosewood that looks incredibly similar in structure, maybe it has been stained in the past...
