Hi, Yes it was the capacitor, dunno if it was the 70uF or the 200uf, buts its working like bought one again ie after both were replaced. Local Felder dealer was quite helpful.

DGI Country Oil maybe
I find DGI country oil works well on small pieces of dry redgum eg wood carvings, I just wipe on wipe off evry 48hrs for about a fortnight and it builds up a clear tough [semi gloss] urethane finish....

Though I bought the "metric" Leigh jig, they supply it with
a 5/16"[7.9375mm] spiral up cut bit,
the templates are 8mm.
