Looks good groggy. Last year I bought 6 super cheap auto 10" F clamps for about 6 bucks each, I find them much more useful than I would a single bessey clamp.

Probably doesn't make much different. Square is easier to build, but you'd lose more wood.

A side note. But I considered using threaded rod through my bench, not for glue up, but allow it to clamped taken apart again. Wood expansion should be a trick with cross grain metal.

My benchcrafted from memory arrived in 4-6 weeks. By carriage vice do you mean their wagon vice? They are expensive. What was even ruder was being hit with GST and customs fees.

My bench... 4". Still upside down on saw horses. I think I'll need 5 blokes to flip it.

I'm not sure if there's any data on epoxy vs woodglue for strength. I like the idea of the wood glue...
