Is No. 6 a Sorby, just looking at the way the socket joins the blade,there is no noticeable shoulder. It looks like that really old Rob. Sorby that belonged to my grandfather. And 8 is similar.

67and8 have blades that are longer proportionally to the chisel as a whole, making them butt chisels I think, the others are bench chisels with shorter blades.

6,7,8 are morticing chisels(or at least sash morticers) the rest are much thinner and bevelled.

3,4,6 don't have leather shock washers at the top of their handles.
