just made another Zeagle...i call this one ...MESHA....
no truss rod cocobolo neck; sonokeling rosewood top on durian back; SS frets; 25.5" scale length; no finish on neck and body top ;
6 lbs 6...

beautiful work all around Peter...and yes ...tht maple is most lovely indeed...

this is my 13th whole homebrew electric


they all sitting on a couple of floor racks along with a couple of other half homebrews...

..these days i love to build em more than...

i have done black side dots using ebony dust and thin super glue and then sanding back to level

now tht the selector switch is in place, it looks a much more usable guitar floody!

the body is quite old and has been sitting in my shed for over a decade ...and is inspired greatly by my admiration for the PRS body

i got the 19 mm boards ...around 120 mm wide iirc...

had to pick through and get some QS stuff


so the base is actually 1 board torn into 6 pieces ...flipped and glued to make diamonds at...

the widest cut i have done so far is through 4" x 4" african blackwood blocks to get my neck blanks (have been focussing on neck construction recently)


no problems there...


it has...

...i have the bp 355 and have written a little about it in the bandsaw subsection .....

...but i can say again tht it is a lovely beast and while it is indeed possible to build without a bandsaw,...

as for bandsaws....all i can say is tht my hombrewing went up quite a few levels of achievement once a man-sized bandsaw was within easy reach all the time....
