The weight between Boatcote or West System wet or dry is going to be minimal as its a chemical reaction for it to harden off so there is no loss of product as it dries..........not like single pack...

Looking at the pics of the boat Mik cant see that its 24' long even with the bow sprit.

How will you do it
If you build it like a truss vvvvvv with spacers at 45 degrees to your beam it will be extremely strong for downward and upward force but not sideways unless you put your beams on the flat.

Marine ply has waterproof glue and no cavitities in the layers of ply but you still need to epoxy, paint all surfaces of the ply to protect the wood the ply is made out of.

Stuff it
Napisan sounds good or warm water with dishwashing detergent in it makes a good degreaser give it a bit of scrub with it then sand it back because getting it wet will raise the wood fibres a bit
