yeah the oregon grain is one of my favourites. I have some measurements and photos to work to but I'm really just going by what looks pleasing to the eye as I go.:oo:

Its very difficult to get people to pay what we're worth, :(selling handmade timber toys at the markets, everyone wants cheap cheap cheap, so I use rubbish timber, cheap finishes and let them go...

looks excellent, i saw a carving once on a hollow log and the eyeballs had simply been drilled right through to the hollow, gave amazing depth to the look of the face,quite eerie,
keep it up...
