turning supplies/ woodworking kits
ie: pen kit's , walking stick fittings that sort of thing here in SA . The shop I used to get it from has closed apparently (Mik International) and I have someone at work looking for a walking stick !

can't say I use any MDF but the Aquadhere...
can't say I use any MDF but the Aquadhere Polyurethane I use works great on the hardwoods for my pool cues , I use it much more often than Epoxy and have glued Lignum Vitae , Cocobolo and similar...

shouldn't be any slippage and the nut should be tight - it's for adjusting the tailstock position on the bed , without it being fairly done up the release handle wont get enough bite .
