I knew I'd seen the GPW saw elsewhere and yes, it was a Jet. Maybe same rebranded? Good (20mm) dado capability and 12 inch blade. Hmmmmmm.....

I'm no expert but 5 thou sounds like not much at all. Where're you measuring that - is that over the length of the fence? 5/1000 inch off square over table width of say 24" sounds good to me.
