The book isn't useful, the only way to adjust the thicknessing over the width seems to me to be to change the mesh of the chain driven sprockets that drive the 4 vertical lift...

One small comment I read somewhere is that grinding wheels leave contaminent in the aluminium, so maybe make sure you clean it with something else first in case it is that causing the issue.

Thanks for the kind comments. It was a nice feeling to flip her on New Years Day that's for sure. She is my first attempt at anything wooden let alone a boat.
