I've got a carbatec mini as my back up lathe. Love it!

I've also got the GMC equivalent of that Xceed lathe sitting in my garden shed. If you can cover the shipping to your place, it's yours....

What saw would you use for making clean and accurate cuts through wood, resin and trustone pen blanks?

I'm looking for something that is good for segmenting, cutting to tube length...

Love them! Great high quality ink, something I'm not afraid to recommend.

Curtis Australia have a great story, and their work is first class. Easily my favourite 'brand name' pen manufacturer.

I might be able to donate a box of assorted woods to help out, I'll take a look when I get home.

A package from Nick arrived yesterday. Beautiful copper and black enamel sierra dress in (maybe) curly red gum, along with some great woods including some of the paperbark he showed off recently....

I buy mine from Barnes Products, the folks in the Brisbane store are great. And as previously said, clear casting resin is the way to go.

I guess I'm biased, I'm not really a fan of the design of the Knight kit so that would be why I would price them lower. More of a personal opinion than anything.

John is spot on. There are a lot of factors to take into account when selling and setting a price.

At my main market, my prices start at $50 and go as high as $180, and I have no issues selling...
