If they make Backing rods and as some suggest Fronting rods then it stands to reason that Topping rods and Bottoming rods must also be able to be purchased.

water levels
Water levels are great for levelling anything. Just make sure you have no bubble in them and off you go. You can use them around corners, different rooms, finding the same height on the same wall...
