I recently noticed that the tailstock on my old Jet JWL1236 lathe kept slipping a little bit. And a closer look showed the problem: a nice crack through the iron casting.

I'm tempted by the Nova G3 Pro-Tek...
I'm tempted by the Nova G3 Pro-Tek, although new jaw sets are a bit pricey.
Or perhaps the Vicmarc VM100. The lathe has built in indexing, so that isnt a concern for me -
