I used a clear sealeant on my cca treated timber. It still looked good when i left the place a couple of years later. Can't recall the name of the stuff but it was recommended by the timber guy.

When I fitted the height winder I had to raise the table up to the 70mm marks.
Problem with this is now the max thickness you can cross cut is thinner. I had to lower the table on the weekend to fit... -
