thanks yes they sure do keep me busy alright, it can take anything from 2 to 3 weeks a couple of hours a day, from start to finish. definatly a lobour of love.

thanks so much for your comments, the sleigh one is sat on my coffee table being used for magazines etc, i made it at christmas time when it was mega cold over here, it took for ever for the wood...

1 week in the making and fially finished.
pic1; hold 1 side in the vice ,pilot drill and glue and pannel pin slats to the bottom.
pic2; pin top rope twist slats to the top. clean off excess glue.... -

simple rope twist for trug
this is a very simple and easy effect to try with minumum amount of skill but maximum effect.
pic 1: using a sliding bevel mark arond each piece with it set at 45degrees for the pole just draw it on... -
