I have seriously never seen Wenge stain, I imagine it would be hard to replicate because of the huge difference in colours that are in it. That's why I suggested the paint.....

Running short on stock though. Consider light brown paint then coated with very dark brown paint then run a comb over it while the top coat is still wet. maybe.
