Yeah red is coming from the 3-way switch and going to the hot tip of the jack. Already complete though so you guy don't have to worry :D

Well it's basically all done now. Just have to find some decent knobs and attach the truss rod cover. Oiled up the fret board today so my room smells lemony fresh :D

I've decided i was just driving it too hard, and like most things when the amp is high and the volume of two humbuckers is high it distorts. I've turned it down and it sounds fine.

I have put at least 6 layers of estapol on it and just now bumped it slightly with my drill, causing a mark. Is estapol always gunna be that thin or should i layer up some more?

Yeah it's just a two part epoxy adhesive. The only reason i can think that the epoxy is bad is that it would have absolutely no give, and would be a pain to clean up. Other than that i dont see why...

I might add, if you haven't got a cutter for you router with the roller bearing between the shank and the cutting edges, go get one. Will make your life so much easier. Maybe one with three flutes if...

Red with a little water, about 3/4 dye to 1/4 water. And lots and lots and lots of coats after sanding back the first. I applied it with a sponge brush and didn't wipe of the excess, just let it soak...

There are so many different ways of doing things, just read as much as you can and go with what you like. The fact you have a les paul already makes it easy to start as you have all your measurements...

Yeah not much has changed since last time so I didn't bother with pics. But the day that bridge comes a flood will begin.

Well goes to show why people say measure twice cut once. Just checked the scale length on my neck and realised that the bridge needs to be within an inch on the lowest point beneath the neck. So...

Found GuitarAust.com and they seem to have all the stuff I'm after for a decent price so I may go through them for a neck etc.

actually its the pointy horns of the BC Beast with the same curve as the bottom left section. :2tsup:

Body is rough cut after drilling holes in the tight spots with Forstner bits on a drill press and band sawing out the rest.
I left a bit of meat on the horns but I know how I'll cut them out now. ...

Got the wood thicknessed, jointed and glued into one big slab.
