I use red Torquata blades from timbecon, order them online with fast postage, i frequently rip hardwoods and have found their blades adequate for my needs :wink:

I usually fire a straight board on with a trim...
I usually fire a straight board on with a trim nailer, use that as a staight edge to run the circular saw on but position yourself so you have complete control of the tool & be cautious when plunging...
