I have achieved very good results using a Bosch TCT Multi Material saw blade fitted to a Makita circular saw. There was little or no chip-out. See:

I have not tried the Bosch or the Hitachi but I'm sure that both are great saws. However, they are both heavy - 29kg and 32kg respectively. If mobility is an issue e.g. lugging the saw up and down...

Check your local regulations. I recollect that for electrical conduit, the trench had to be at least 450mm (18 in.) deep. Also, dig the trench in straight lines (a 90 degree bend is OK)...
