I've done hundreds of meters and only burnt it once also stay well away from any blades, clean with the corner of the file while it is almost flat to the job, you'll know you have the right angle...

I was a subcontractor installing built in robes and I found the best is a clothing iron set it on high and be careful not to burn the tape, then use a file to clean up the excess

If plans or machines/gadgets ever make it on the net for more than 24hrs they are lucky and if you happen to stumble across one take a screen print or dl what you can because alot of so called free...
