Loosely based on a Norris thumb plane,the body on this one is bronze,with a mild steel sole and brass bridge and rivets.
The infill is mulga with a lot of sapwood incorporated for contrast. -

This one is a Bill Carter-style mitre plane made...
This one is a Bill Carter-style mitre plane made from the spine of a Disston tenon saw.
The wedge and infill are Aussie rosewood,the sole,bridge and nose are hard brass.
