Ok, here's a couple of firsts, the Tele is two piece Alder body, rock maple neck, Indian Rosewood FB, Seymour Duncan VIntage 54 pups.

The amp is based on the P1 Schematic at ax84.com and cabinet...

Looks great misterwippy, like to give one of these a go myself!

BTW where did you get the handle for the head cab?

Looks great Strungout. I've just finished a five watter found at ax84.com, hard to describe the feeling on first power up.....and it not only worked but sounded great. Now to finish the head cab.

Hey Black_Labb I may have to fire you off a question or two as I get closer to first power up of my amp. I'm a little nervous testing those voltages.......

The general consensus is to go with the kit, Chris at doberman is a great fellow and it is doubtfull that you could get the parts cheaper in Aus even taking into account the shipping.

I'm 75% through the 5 watt P1 from the ax84.com site. Can't recommend that board enough for anyone wanting to get into amp building.
