Thanks for the feedback. I will look at the alternative clamps.

I have had one over 40 years and the battery never runs flat.

It is hard to find wood with the right grain.

Has anyone got any experience of these scroll saws. I have been told they are good copy of a well known brand. Is this true?

Just getting into this woodwork stuff with the hope of building models for the grand kids. I plan to get table saw and router and scroll saw and so I need advice on what to buy.
