If you want to have a look at a 6040 CNC in the flesh, give me a yell. I picked one up not long ago and it is running well on the supplied electronics.

The seller is very light on any details and suspect there wouldn't be many extras with either lathes.

Have you considered a small CNC? You could do your hole cutting plus engrave labels and more. CNC will make cutting circles and complex shaps whole lot easier than a manual mill.
