Everything has been stripped to bare metal. All surface rust removed or treated, where I couldn't get to in the recessed parts with a wire wheel got sandblasted.

I managed to get a light coat of surfacer primer before the storm suddenly kicked up.

I need to put some bodyfiller back in a few places.

Had to find places to let them dry inside due to the storm.

I was measuring up the motor mount to make an adapter plate to go between it and the motor. It now seems to be hiding from me  I spent several hours looking for it, & I know it has to be here.

The white drill, has a fair amount of misc waldown parts.

I believe the pillar is also waldown as it matches the blue drills. I suspect the feed handles are also genuine. Possibly the quill assembly??

    Stop looking....I found it

Got some bolts to fit that will mount the adapter plate & motor. I'm a bit disappointed that my piece of steel isn't quite as wide as the drills motor mount. 5-6mm gap. I would have liked it to be flush all round so you couldn't tell there was an adapter there. Maybe I'll fit the two parts together and use body filler on the edge & paint it as one piece.

Yep started on the lotze, it's been cleaned. It has an issue in it doesn't align the blade with the bed. There is a lot of slop in the head so I think it may need new bronze bearings. Also the adjuster clamp fell apart when I put the socket on it to undo it. Was just held to together with grease & paint. Need to machine up a replacement. I have done the drawings of it but needs to be milled up.

You have one eye, in the middle of your head?

    The male condition?
Not only a male affliction I am relieved to say. Both MGW and I use each other to find stuff we have "lost". Often it is right in front of our nose, but another set of eyes is not limited by the restriction of thinking that the area has already been searched.
