drum hoops

HI iam trying to source someone to make me some steam bent drum hoops for medicine drums and bodhrans. These would be of varying dimensions but as a start, 15 inch diameter by 2.5 inch deep.
I would prefer them not to be laminated as this can affect sound.
I have posted also in the buy and sell forum, but no takers yet.

Hi Moocha,

this is Matt here. Thought that name looked familiar, you never know who you might bump into here. Well there is one guy I know of and he is not exactly helpfull, in fact very negative so I don't recommend useing him. He's the one I sourced the hoops off that we used at the workshop. There is a guy though that Lindy M * mentioned to me but I forget his name who makes some very nice steam bent hoops indeed and if you still have her contact details she will put you onto him. I have a freind who may help too, Barry from White Moth Spirit Drums, he may have some advice for you in that regard and he's only too helpfull and freindly. I'll emailyou his details.
