    Default Triton thicknesser/moulder TPT15

I have searched the threads and am looking for the good, bad and ugly, on the TPT15.

Bad seems to be - no warranty anymore, hard to get (if at all) spares, hard to get blades (thicknesser and moulding), and high cost of spares.

Good seem to be well built, good functions and ease of use compared to similar machines.

I would like to find out opinions good or bad or indifferent from user/owners of the TPT15 before I make my final decision. What are the most often breakages, what spares are compatable from other machines (which may negate the hard to get spares)

Any help to make that decision either way would be greatly appreciated.

    Lyle.

    Lyle..

Try Carba-Tec stores (or on the website). We had the same machine available (plus a large range of moulding blades) a few years ago.

If you do a search on the site..type in 'CV-' in the search box, and all the blades are listed as CV-Y##A...depending on type/shape.

Failing that follow this link (hope it works!)

I sold mine and bought a Carbatec 15" thicknesser, if that counts towards anything.
