finally finished with a couple of coats of (Feast Watson) proof seal and a few of wax
what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

Thanks for following up with the finished photos. I appreciate you sharing your techniques. I am wondering what you used to sand it with though. Surely you didn't do that all with a sanding block.

That's awesome. I can't believe how good it looked after being 'roughed out' - I'd call it 'finished'

What else could we expect but another top notch effort?
The finish has given he cedar a wonderfully mellow look and it suits the face perfectly.
