Considering a used Supergrind 2000 -Need advice
I have seen a used Tormek Supergrind 2000 for sale.
I does not have the horizontal base mount. I've search the net but every photo I have found of a Supergrind 2000 has the horizontal base mount.
Can anyone tell me anything about this model? Could I add the horizontal base?
What's it worth?
Risks of buying a used machine?
Here is a photo of the machine in question:

Hi,
I purchased one just the same. Installed the base mount myself, and am
very happy.
paid $250. Have added more to it since.

have same did same you can buy the mount as spare part with fitting instructions
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

Yes Kaharoa, you can buy the part from anyone that sells Tormek.
When I mounted mine, I fitted the bar and then squared it up against the wheel. Next I super glued it in place to allow me to drill the holes without movement.
Hope this helps.
