Default Good source of carving books in Aus?

    Hey all,

trying to find some carving books. Normally I get good deals at fishpond.com.au but they don't haev the ones I'm after.

Anyone know of an Australian online store that has a good range at good prices?

    Thanks. Russell.

    Eh,

Well over the last week, I've emailed several companies offering to sell books that don't seem available in Australia, asking about postage etc.

So far, no replies from any of them

The one I was really looking for was "Caricature Heads in Wood and On Paper" by Marvin Kaisersatt. It seems the book is out of print now I can only find two suppliers who still have it listed.

This seems to be a common problem that woodwork books only stay in circulation for a little while before they vanish for ever, never to return. Kinda makes it hard to get the good ones that are as good tody as they may have been 10+ years ago.

Try Rick Weibe on [email protected] I know he's not into books anymore but he might have a copy of this one. I know he used to stock them cause that's where I got my copy.

Thanks for that. He does have the book, and has responded quickly to emails, so I'm ordering one from him.
