Dewalt 18v Lithium Impact driver & Dewalt 18v Angled Nailer
Hey,
I just came back from my local total tools and they are selling the Dewalt 18v Lithium Impact driver with a Dewalt 18v Angled Nailer for $699.
Is this a good price?
Andy.

Do you have more specs, e.g. torque rating, weight, battery capacity? Have you looked at prices of online/retail stores such as sydneytools, vektools, fktools, powertoolspecialists, v8tools, etc to compare prices? (these website names are all .com.au)

That would be this kit then:
DeWalt DC827KL 18V NANO HD Impact Driver Kit
Don't know about nailers but the impact drill looks more than adequate for diy stuff.

Looks like a bloody good buy to me! plenty of grunt, and according to Tool City in Brisbane, one of the best tools in their class.

Definately a good deal, the cordless nailer takes c brads which are common in most brands, Dont forget they have a 30day satisfaction gaurantee so if you dont like it you can return it on the dewalt range

Very tempting, i don't "need" it but its such a great deal. If i regret it down the track i'm sure i can always sell them individually and get my money back.

Andy,
I don't know much about the nailer, but the DeWalt driver is probably not the best value for your money. We rated over 15 18V impact drivers and the DeWalt DC827KL and DC825KA came in towards the bottom of the list. For about the same price, you could buy something like the Hitachi WH18DL or Bosch 25618-02 and get more torque, speed, impacts, Li-ion batteries, and all at a lower weight.
DeWalt makes some good drills, and their impact drivers are OK, they're just not the best value for your money.
