    Exclamation fish

This carving of a fish hangs on the wall of a pousada (motel) in Buzios. For those who don;t know Bridget Bardot declared this to be the most beautiful beach area in the world.

    Arrow

I first went to Buzios 22 years ago and it was putrid.

These days it is spotless. It is a beautiful place, a small peninsula with small, non surf beaches on all sides. The water is clean, clear and calm and good for swimming and snorkeling.

At high tide the beaches all but disappear.

I gues for poor ignorant European sex kittens the place must have been like paradise compared to those bloody awful stone beaches in so much of Europe.
