2010 Australian Woodturning Symposium
G'day everyone, I would like to introduce myself for those of you who may not know me.
I am Bruce Bell a professional woodturner of some 38 years experience from Queensland.
I am the convenor the the 2010 Australian Woodturning Symposium to be held in Brisbane from the 14th to 18th July 2010 at St. Leo's College St. Lucia.
There is an exciting programme planned with some hand-on opportunites with both international and national presenters alike. The symposium is open to anyone who may wish to learn more about the craft of woodturning. There is excellent on site accommodation available for interstate visitors.
Registration are filling at a steady rate and close on the 15th May 2010.
If anyone is interested in attending or would like to know more please feel free to contact me or go to the symposium web site Welcome to The 2010 Australian Woodturning Symposium for more information.
Your's in Woodturning

I wanna go!!
Just joking around with my wife about another thread... then opened this one, and said, " I'd sure like to attend this." She looks up from her quiltin' and says, "You'd better get you a passport. One of these days you're gonna haul off and go down there."
I wish, I wish, oh, how I wish..........

Travelling
If anyone from overseas is thinking they might like to attend the symposium there is an after symposium Reef to the Outback tour planned to make your stay in our part of the world a little more entertaining.
Who knows you might find that exclusive piece of timber that you need for that special project.
Enjoy the thrill of Making the Chips Fly

If it helps to convince she who must be obeyed to let you come to the symposium. There will be a partners programme for any registered partners doing different stuff to that us woodies like doing.
Also there is the education programme for both youth and those who have never had a go at woodturning and would like to do so.
Someone has to keep the "Timber Turner " busy.
