Tasmanian Tonewoods
New build by Bryan Rourke U.S.A.
Tasmanian Fiddleback myrtle back & sides with spalting in the centre, Tasmanian myrtle neck, myrtle burl rosette. Huon pine soundboard also Huon pine used for guitar brazing.
Customer enjoyed working with huon pine so now wants another soundboard for his next build.
His comments on huon pine the sound is superb it is very clear, with tremendous separation between the notes it needs to be played in a bit like spruce before the deeper notes come out, but it is even and bright already he also finds the bearclaw figure in this top special.
Regards, Bob

I have to say that back and sides are something else. I have never seen anything quite as 3d as that.

Stu Bluestone custom guitars Blackhearted Sassafras
Here is a taste of another build recently finished by Stu, Bluestone custom guitars.
Stu tells me he is flat out lately and does not get time to post with working at his day job plus flat out building guitars when he is at home.
So I will post a few build photos to give you all a taste and hopefully Stu will explain the build.
Photos are posted with Stu approval,
Regards, Bob

Tasmanian Tonewoods
Long john weather today in tropical Tasmanian, so in between moving rocks to keep warm plus keeping the wife happy, I did a little bit of quick resawing.
