scandinavian teak oil over water base???
I have just varnished a pine dresser in satin waterbased varnish. Does anybody know if I can use the Scandinavian teak oil over the top. I have used it in the past over oil base but never water. I really love the finish it gives.
Thanks in advance
Andrew.

So long as the varnish is properly dry, I can't see a problem. But why not try it out on a scrap of left over timber first?
Regards,
Rob

Thanks Rob. That's what I was thinking and I already have a scrap with 3 coats on it. I'll leave it a few days and see how it goes. I really don't see too much of a problem but I'm a bit unsure how long it would last.
cheers...Andrew
